Young cooks Leon Rademaekers and Ellen Rosdahl will be representing Sweden in the Nordic Championship for Cook and Waiter Apprentices in April 2023.

Leon Rademaekers, Team Sweden
Leon Rademaekers is 19 years old and is a chef apprentice at the Operakällaren restaurant in Stokholm.
Leon studied at the restaurant line at Sturegymnasiet before becoming an apprentice at the Operakällaren, which has been honored with a star and five red ‘Couvert symbols’, crossed forks and spoons, in Guide Michelin.
At the competition in Oslo, Leon is most looking forward to getting to know new people and getting new contacts.

Ellen Rosdahl is 21 years old and is a chef's apprentice at the restaurant Sillen och Makrillen, located in Helsingborg. Sillen & Makrillen is a sea food restaurant in Helsingborg that is right on the water's edge.
Before becoming an apprentice at Sillen & Makrillen, Ellen attended Rönnowska Skolan. Ellen is most looking forward to competing, and getting news contacts during the competition in Oslo. It will be an exctremely exciting time ahead!
The Nordic Championship for Cook and Waiter Apprentices highlights Nordic culinary skills and traditions, and is an important catalyst for promoting the Nordic restaurant industry. In 2023, the Championships are held in Oslo, Norway.
